Luminis

Luminis is an Israeli private company specializing in the development and production of medical equipment using laser, light beam, and radio wave technologies. The company’s headquarters, including its offices, laboratories, and warehouses, are located in Yokneam.

About the project: Project Management: Dan Engineers. Architecture: Gindi Studio. The project spans over 6 floors with a total area of approximately 5,500 square meters, including office floors, laser laboratories, clinics, public spaces, and a rooftop floor. This is a Design-Build project, meticulously planned with maximum attention to the client’s needs.

As part of the planning process, a full modeling of the project was done using the BIM360 cloud environment, based on laser scans conducted on DAY1. This resulted in perfect outcomes during execution, ensuring system compatibility with the physical conditions on-site.

The investment in every detail of the project is evident, both architecturally and engineering-wise. The office floors are divided into “OPEN SPACE” areas, meeting rooms, executive offices, cafeterias, and a bar. The finishing materials and workspace design are carefully chosen to match the client’s vision, combining industrial aesthetics with colorful elements to create a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

Special emphasis was placed on acoustics, with all rooms treated vertically and horizontally with grooved acoustic coverings, in a clean and uniform manner. The laboratory floors were designed and executed according to the client’s unique requirements, including complex backup systems, generators, UPS systems, frequency and voltage converters, extraction systems, VRF systems, and more.

In order to realize and fulfill the requirements precisely, we worked hand in hand with project management and the client, conducting a Design-Review process that proved its worth.

The project achieves a clear balance between the architectural vision and the technical needs of the relevant departments, as per the client’s requirements.

The work was carried out to a very high quality standard, using a unique system developed by our company, and within complex and challenging timelines.

The success of the project stems from a very fruitful collaboration with project management, project architects, and the client, along with joint operation on the BIM360 platform from the initial planning stage, through execution, and to project delivery.
