Boston Scientific is a company headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts, that develops, manufactures, and globally markets medical devices. Its products cover a wide range of specialties such as cardiology, neuromodulation, electrophysiology, heart surgery, vascular interventions, endoscopy, oncology, urology, and gynecology.
The company resumed its operations in Israel in 2015 under Amos Gazit, and in 2021, it acquired the neurological division of the Israeli company Luminis.
The company’s offices are located at Hi-Tech Park, Yokneam Illit, 6 HaKadima Street. The building consists of a parking floor, an entrance floor, and four additional floors, each covering an area of approximately 2400 square meters.
The project was executed in stages to avoid disrupting the company’s operations. In the first stage, 90% of the first floor was completed. Architectural planning was led by Gindi Studio, under the direction of Sivan and Yael, with supervision by Yaron Levi and Shay Shoshan.
The floor is designed with clean and straight lines, including open workspaces, executive offices, meeting rooms, informal meeting areas, a spacious cafeteria, and a lecture room with a retractable partition.
The project includes elements such as greenery-framed frames, soft wood-like flooring by Wurks, and acoustic porcelain-coated passages designed by Wurks.
The collaboration with the client, supervision, and architectural work were fruitful and engaging, leading to the project’s completion ahead of schedule and with the client’s satisfaction.
The Yaniv Engineering team congratulates Boston Scientific on moving into their new floor and is pleased with the satisfactory outcome, wishing continued productive work.
