The Finastra Project – Kfar Saba

Finastra Technology Israel Ltd. is a company that specializes in the development of systems for the transfer and clearing of funds.

The project is situated at 1 Atir Yeda, in the Oshira Building, Kfar Saba, an 8-story building above an active commercial center.

Project area – 4,500 square meters

Project architect – Gindi Studio

Supervisor – David Raz

The Finastra Project is a very complex project comprised of the 3rd and 4th floors, including a main cafeteria with a double space on the 4th floor, and a number of additional cafeterias on the floors, as well as conference rooms of various sizes, opening up of the floor between the 3rd and 4th floors that includes a steel staircase that connects the two floors, open space work stations including an element of frames with plants above tables and wooden privacy partitions in various patterns, high-end showers on the 3rd floor, a state-of-the-art music room and a games room.

The project combined unique finishing touches including wood cladding on the walls, corrugated sheet metal, diners spread out on the floor and bleachers for informal meetings, wire mesh suspended ceilings, decorative ceilings that served as an acoustic element as well, exposed systems with a paint finish, special carpentry spread throughout the project’s space as a decorative storage element, and lighting unique to the project.

The project included a number of complex challenges, such as the sawing of the floor and installing a staircase between the floors, within a short period of time, installing systems in the exposed ceilings, which required precise work with an emphasis on aesthetics that was on a higher level than usual.
The 2-month schedule required work around the clock with additional staff members of up to 150 workers working in the field at the same time.

The factors that contributed to the success of the project:

The contractors’ devotion to the project and their strong support in pushing the execution forward and the commitment of each of the workers in the field is what led us to meet the project’s unrealistic deadline.  Moreover, ongoing support and availability of the firm {purchasing, finance} helped execution go smoothly.
Yaniv Engineering’s control system enabled organization and a minimum of errors in the project’s execution.

Personal conclusion – where there’s a will, there’s a way to do everything!
